  4. 04 Press Convert and download the JPG, or the ZIP when there are several pages.

About this tool

Need a slide for a presentation, a page to post in a chat or a preview for a website? Drop a PDF here and Hushdesk renders every page as a separate JPG image, or only the pages you list. Pick the resolution for the job: 72 dpi for screens, 150 dpi for documents, 300 dpi for print. The images look exactly like the page, with embedded fonts, vector graphics and filled-in form fields. Several pages arrive as one ZIP archive, named in page order so they sort correctly in any folder. The conversion runs inside this browser tab, so the PDF is never uploaded to a server.

  • Print-ready 300 dpi

An A4 page at 300 dpi becomes a 2480 × 3508 pixel image. The resolution is written into the file, so it prints at the original size.

  • Faithful rendering

Pages are drawn by PDFium, the PDF engine inside Chrome, including embedded fonts and the values typed into form fields.

  • Pages stay in order

Every file carries the document name and its page number (report_page-1.jpg, report_page-2.jpg …) and all of them go into one archive, so nothing gets shuffled.

  • No upload at all

The work happens in an isolated frame that your browser keeps offline. Open the Network panel of the developer tools and watch: no request carries your file.

Questions and answers

Which resolution should I choose for PDF to JPG?

72 dpi is enough for thumbnails and web previews, 150 dpi keeps small print readable on screen, and 300 dpi is the usual choice for printing or text recognition. A higher resolution means larger files.

Can I convert just some pages of a PDF to JPG?

Yes. Type pages and ranges into the Pages field, for example 2, 5-8 or 10-z, where z is the last page. With the field left blank, the whole document is converted.

Why do I get a ZIP file instead of images?

Each page becomes its own image. When there is more than one, they are packed into a single ZIP so your browser downloads one file instead of dozens. A one-page PDF downloads as a plain JPG.

Does converting PDF to JPG send my document to a server?

No. Rendering the pages and compressing them to JPEG both happen in this tab. The tool runs in a frame that the browser blocks from making network requests, so the document stays with you.

Can I convert a password-protected PDF to JPG?

Yes. Enter the password when the tool asks for it; it is checked on your device only. The resulting images are not password-protected.

How large can the PDF be?

On a computer up to 300 MB and 2,000 pages, on a phone up to 100 MB and 300 pages. A single page is rendered at no more than 50 megapixels (24 on phones); if a huge page had to be scaled down, the result says so.

JPG or PNG: which is better for PDF pages?

JPG files are several times smaller and look fine for photos and scans. PNG is lossless and keeps the edges of letters and lines crisp, so for diagrams or small text use PDF to PNG.
