Cookies and similar storage
Hushdesk uses first-party cookies, localStorage and sessionStorage. Cookies may be sent to the site with requests; browser storage is read by code running on the site. We do not use advertising cookies or third-party analytics scripts. Optional analytics does not use analytics cookies.
Your analytics choice
On your first visit, a panel at the bottom of the page offers Accept analytics and Settings. Accept analytics confirms consent. Settings opens a short explanation and a switch in the same panel. The switch starts on as a proposed choice; analytics is not sent until you confirm with Accept analytics or Save choice while the switch is on. Opening Settings or continuing to browse does not give consent. To refuse, turn the switch off and select Save choice; the tools remain available.
You can change your choice at any time with Analytics settings in the footer. This reopens the same panel. In Settings, the switch reflects your saved choice; change it and select Save choice to apply the change.
Turning it off stops new analytics messages, discards queued messages and removes the stored page sequence. It does not undo earlier processing or remove contributions already combined into aggregate statistics.
The choice is valid for 180 days; after that, analytics requires a new opt-in. Do Not Track and Global Privacy Control signals disable analytics even when it was enabled. The Privacy Policy describes analytics messages, temporary processing of IP addresses and browser information, aggregate visitor estimates and server retention.
Storage inventory
sw_localecookie: remembers an explicitly selected language for up to one year. It applies throughout the site (Path=/,SameSite=Lax,Secureon HTTPS) and is sent with matching site requests.sw.locale— localStorage: remembers the selected language, without an automatic expiry.sw.theme— localStorage: remembers the requested appearance, without an automatic expiry.sw.langBannerDismissed.<language>— localStorage, with sessionStorage fallback: records dismissal of the language suggestion. The timestamp is ignored after 30 days; this does not automatically remove the stored entry.sw.preset.<tool>— localStorage: saves supported tool options only when you ask to remember them, without an automatic expiry. Passwords are excluded.sw.analytics.consent— localStorage: stores the choice, its version and date. It is valid for 180 days; the entry may remain until replaced or cleared.sw.analytics.path— sessionStorage: only with analytics enabled, holds up to five page catalogue keys and a timestamp for aggregate navigation counts. It resets on the next event after 30 minutes of inactivity, lasts for the tab session and is removed when analytics is disabled.
Administrator cookie
sealwork_stats_session is used only after an administrator signs into statistics, not for ordinary visitors. It lasts up to 12 hours and becomes invalid on logout or server restart. It uses HttpOnly, SameSite=Strict, Path=/api/v1/stats and Secure on HTTPS.
Browser controls
You can inspect, block or clear cookies and site storage in your browser. Clearing them resets saved preferences and consent; blocking them may prevent settings from being remembered. The document tools do not require optional analytics. Ordinary browser caching of website and tool resources may also occur. This preference-storage system does not store your document contents.
