Using the service
Hushdesk provides free document tools without an account. These terms apply to their use. If you do not accept them, do not use the tools. Use on behalf of an organisation requires its authorisation.
Your files and permissions
You retain your rights to your files. Use only files you are entitled to process, including any required permissions for personal data, confidential material and third-party content. Check whether your organisation allows use of this service before processing its documents.
Starting a cloud job gives us limited permission to receive, temporarily store, process and return your files solely to perform that job under the Privacy Policy. This does not transfer ownership or grant permission to publish your files. Local tools process files in your browser; cloud processing is identified before upload.
Acceptable use
Do not use the service unlawfully, infringe others’ rights, upload malicious code, attack the service, bypass access controls or usage limits, or access another person’s jobs. Password and restriction removal tools may be used only with the necessary authority.
We may limit or suspend access where reasonably necessary to address abuse, security incidents, legal obligations or capacity constraints.
Check and keep your documents
Keep your original files and independent backups. Download results you need; the service is not an archive. Check content, layout and suitability before relying on or sharing a result. The Disclaimer explains tool-specific limitations. Browser storage is described in the Cookie Policy.
Availability and responsibility
Tools may fail, change or become unavailable. To the extent permitted by law, we provide no additional guarantee of uninterrupted availability, error-free operation, absolute security or a particular result or suitability for a purpose.
Liability is determined by applicable law. Nothing in these terms excludes or limits mandatory consumer rights or liability that cannot lawfully be excluded, including liability for fraud, intentional misconduct, gross negligence, death or personal injury where applicable. These terms do not override express obligations or legally required standards.
Changes
We may update these terms for changes to the service or legal requirements. Updates apply prospectively from the date stated on this page, with any advance notice or consent required by law. They do not retrospectively remove accrued rights. If a provision is unenforceable, the remaining provisions continue only to the extent permitted by law.
